Ya know, there is La Casa Gelateria right around the corner from us boasting of 213 flavors!
We tried Garlic, Curry, Rum and Coke, and other crazy flavors!
Came across your blog quite by accident. Have never physically met anyone named POTH before other than immediate family.
I am Konrad Poth, a 79 year old retired prosecutor, artist and motorcyclist, raised in Darmstadt/Rossdorf, Germany, now living in La Grange, KY.
It is my understanding from my German family that the Poths emigrated from Switzerland in the 1300′s due to religious problems and settled the land which evolved into Rossdorf, near Darmstadt, Germany. The family house, where my father was born and now owned by a cousin, has a date plaque over the front door of 1731 which denotes the rebuilding of the house after destruction by fire. The number of families bearing our name becomes fewer the further one gets away from Rossdorf.
Perhaps we are related somewhat closer than Adam and Eve?
