I was in Los Angeles last week helping out an event we had for our store’s 5 year anniversary in LA.
It was alot of work, but when it was all puttled to together, the store looked great and the party was a hit.
In Between sets from a KCRW Dj, and one of the Dandy Warhol’s DJ’s set, was some serious spinning of Soul and Stax from yours truly – DJ Snaxalot. Here are some publicity shots form the event, with yours truly looking a bit dorky in a LA gear white hat.
we are good… having a tough time with our apartment and neighborhood, but thats all part of moving to a new city, isnt it?
we have had two floods, and days and days of construction going on in the inside of our apartment, and as a result we havent been able to feel settled. Our poor dog we rescued from the pound was doing great, and we were training her right, of course with all the construction, strangers, and industrial equipment in and out of the apt, poor lola is having a tough time. we feel terrible about it.
oh did i mention there is no heat?
but the good news is that we are now fired up to find a better more awesomer new place, one that is cozy and accomodating to our visitors. We have also been here long enough that we have found the neighborhoods we like, and enjoy.
